Commissioning a Mural

For regular complexity subjects, I charge $6.25 per square foot. For areas of the mural that require more detail, I charge $8.00 per square foot (applies only to the region of complex detail). I also apply the cost of paint for the project (approximately $9 per quart of latex interior paint used). Minimum charge is $100.

I will first meet with you at the location where I am to paint the mural. There is no charge for the initial consultation. At this time, I will take photos of the area and take measurements. We will discuss the design and do general brainstorming, if you aren't exactly sure what you want.

Once you decide to have a mural painted, I will require a $50 deposit to begin design sketches. Once you are completely satisfied with a design sketch, we will schedule a date and time for me to begin work. I am available to work weekday evenings and weekends.

I will write up a basic contract of what I am to provide and the price quote. Since I have no insurance (in the event I fall off a ladder in your home and break my leg), I will provide a signed hold-harmless agreement to you.
